Have you felt that Netflix has been shrinking, and that you’re monthly fee seems to be getting you less and less each month? Turns out, you were right. Netflix has shrunk approx 31.7% in the last 2.5 years.

What has caused this embarrassing shrinkage? There are several factors.

So there you have it. Like the universe grows, our online selection shrinks. This is the reason why I will never truly abandon physical media, or at least services where you pay a la cart for content and can download to your own device. Trusting streaming services in 2016 to not remove your favorite shows and movies is a fools errand. On that note, here’s what’s coming and going for April.

There are a lot of original series coming. I am intrigued by Danger Mouse. This is the first I’ve heard of that particular property being rebooted. If you’re a Kubrick fan, then you’ll be happy to see 2001: A Space Odyssey coming online. The Princess Bride is another classic coming to streaming. On the other hand, you’ll be pissed if you liked the 2005 action movie Lord Of War, the final season of M*A*S*H or The Passion Of The Christ.
